Full Description:
Howe (from Halifax, Nova Scotia) to the Treasurer and Gentlemen of the Committee for the Relief of the Soldiers. Acknowledges letter announcing that 2,178 dollars had been shipped under the 'Triton' and 2,000 ounces of silver sent on the 'Greyhound' for the relief of the soldiers, their widows and orphans.
