Full Description:
State of allowances and regulations. A discretionary power is allowed in the exercise of these allowances. For the loss of an eye or a limb the commissioned officer shall receive a gratuity of one year's full pay, and the expenses relating to his cure. The commanding officer must provide a certificate stating when and where the accident occured. The widow of a commissioned officer killed in action shall receive one year's full pay and each child will receive one third of what is allowed to the widow. Posthumous children will be included. Men dying within six months of being injured are considered to have been killed in battle.
