Full Description:
Prevost to Howe. St Augustine. He encloses the monthly returns of the garrison. Since arriving he has had no orders except for the ones which brought him to the place which related to the disciplining of the troops. But because the Province is 'insulted' by rebels he has kept recruits busy repairing neglected fortifications. Sending for rangers and Indians to protect the planters, as the garrison has only three to four months supplies for itself.
