Full Description:
Messers Mure, Son and Atkinson to Joshua Loring, Junior. London. Regarding quantities of rum that they are conveying and that he may undertake for any quantity of rum he may require. They advise that each ship will carry around 1,800 puncheons of rum and can make at least three trips a season. As they expect the General [Howe] may request for more than one fourth of the whole supply, they request for him to engage in their names for what ever he shall require.
