Mackenzie to Walcot. New York. Regarding information that has been given to General Howe fo the detention and ill treatment of sixteen men of Skinner's Brigade in Hartford Gaol, and of a soldier of the 37th regiment detained prisoner in Farmington. Instructs Walcot to be particular in his demands for the immediate release of these men, and to enquire into the causes of their detention.
