Full Description:
Sir Robert Herries to Howe from London. Introduction of Mr John Patterson, Herries chief agent in the business mentioned in an enclosed letter who is joining two others who went out the previous September. He cannot guess how soon circumstances may permit them to act in the object of their mission, but states that if not soon the nation runs evident risk of losing the benfit arising from supplying the Farmers General with Tobacco.
