Massey to Howe. News including that of General Burgoyne's misfortune, Brigadier Major Studholme and Mr Franklin's Expedition from Saint John's to Machias having stopped, and Major Souter taking command of Fort Cumberland. Captain Barron taken prisoner, continuation of coal works and the return of commissions.
