Full Description:
General Sir William Howe to Lord Barrington. An answer from Philadelphia regarding letters dated 16 and 18 September, stating that the ships named 'Howe', 'Friendship' and 'General Conway' all arrived with stores in New York, and that the 'Conway' had left in a convoy after only arriving eight days earlier from Plymouth. Also the directions given for distribution, and the mode of payment are to be followed.
