Full Description:
Governor Peter Chester to General Sir William Howe. Pensacola. An answer to acknowledge receipt of a despatch stating His Majesty's Council for the Province [of West Florida] agreeing to the plans for stopping the 'Indian trade', particularly in rum, and have enclosed a copy of a Proclamation for this. He also hopes for a 'quick resolution to the Rebellion and some Peace and Unity in the Colonies'.
