Full Description:
General Sir William Howe to John Robinson. A letter from Philadelphia acknowledging letters with enclosures and the arrival of ships carrying stores into New York. Also stated are the bills for Harley and Drummond for three hundred thousand pounds [£300,000) for payment and the need for wood and coal for the troops to keep warm. An agreement was concluded for the supply of 100,000 gallons of rum at three shillings and six pence per gallon from Antigua and Barbados.
