Full Description:
Andrew Elliott to General Sir William Howe. A letter from the Superintendent in New York acknowledging letter of 22 [February] as well as his error regarding the 'Betsy'. Has nothing but praise about working with the navy in stopping goods getting through to the rebels along with the appointment of Mr Gardiner as Wharf Officer at Staten Island, where the goods are inspected and transported to their customers locations under the following rules.
