Full Description:
John Robinson to General Sir William Howe. Whitehall. Concerning a request for £11,261 16s 9d by Messrs. Nesbit, Drummond and Franks for provisions laid out by them to prisoners amongst the rebels in the provinces of Pennsylvania and Virginia. Their Lordships of the Treasury Chambers have diercted £10,000 to be paid and that Howe is to take credit of £4,528 2s 6d before passing that sum to the aforementioned.
