Full Description:
Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Number 2. King's command to allow Majors-Generals now employed in North America, who wish to return to Europe and may be spared, to have leave of absence. Colonel McLeans Regiment shoud be particularly destined for Nova Scotia and permission granted to employ Major General Massey if he should not continue with the resolution of wishing to return to Europe.
