Full Description:
(b). Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Regarding the plan which has been pointed out to him in the instructions he will receive for the employment and distribution of troops under his command, they will not require the service of the two regiments of Light Dragoons now in America. Instructed to retain those he chooses but disband the rest, and send home the commissioned, non-commissioned officers and private men. Any horses remaining he should employ in such other service as he thinks proper.
