Full Description:
Barrington to Howe. War Office. Lieutenant-Colonel Murray of the detachment of Foot Guards, Lieutenant James Campbell, Lord William Murray of the 42nd Regiment and 2nd Lieutenant Charles Cathcart of the 23rd Regiment of Foot being approved, the former as Commandant and the three latter as Captains in the Athol' Regiment of Highlanders. Desires the the said officers be permitted to return to Great Britain by the first opportunity if the service will permit and there is no objection.
