Full Description:
Brigadier-General Augustine Prevost to Howe. Enquiring whether the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel Brown entitiles him to command the Majors of the King's Troops. As the men-of-war and privateers constantly bring in prisoners (both rebels and French), question of security of these prisoners kept in the Fort with ammunition, artillery and provisions. Desirous to move the prisoners.
