Full Description:
Tonyn to Howe. 1,700 Indians promise to be at St Mary's next moon. With the garrison, Rangers and Indians, Georgia may be taken, 'giving a fair opportunity to the Loyalists of South Carolina'. Surprise capture of a French vessel (a snow) laden with rice and indigo off Tyby. Includes the taking of an artillery officer, who is now a rebel captain.
