Full Description:
Howe to Pigot. Acknowledges previous letter and discusses supplies of money. Not empowered to grant pay to supernumerary Hessian major-generals untilthe King's pleasure is known. Commissions of officers promoted in the new corps, are not to be issued until the corps are formed. Also Mr Payne the apothecary, supplies to Rhode Island and his own resignation.
