Full Description:
Henry Laurens, President of Congress, to Clinton from Yorktown [Virginia]. (Noted that letter is dated 6 May but it should be 6 June). Is instructed to acquaint Clinton that they have already expressed their sentiments upon the Bill, which are not essentially different from those Acts of the British Parliament in a publication of 22 April last, whereupon the king should put an end to the unprovoked and cruel war against the United States.
