Barrington to Clinton. War Office. Sir James Napier being sent to put every branch of the hospitals on a proper footing. Considers stoppage of 4d per day, number of mates being reduced, and proper economy being observed with regard to servants of hospitals. Detached hospitals to observe same regulations as established General Hospitals.
