Full Description:
Clinton to Spry. New York. That it would prove detrimental to the Kings service at the present to recall him from Nova Scotia where he is the chief direction of works, or to grant him the leave of absence that he requires. Obliged by his promise of sending plans of Halifax and the outposts [in Nova Scotia] by the first conveyance.
