Full Description:
Copy of the oath taken by about 100 principal Indians of the Micmac, Maliseet and Passamaquoddy tribes, inhabitants of Nova Scotia between 24 September 1778 and 19 January 1779. Promising allegiance to the King, to inform of any designs they know of the enemy, not to take part in activity against the King, and not to go or communicate with rebellious subjects.
