Full Description:
Tryon, Matthews and Pattison to Clinton. New York. Opinion of the Board of General Officers as to the contingent monetary allowances to the Provincial troops. At foot, Lord Rawdon states that the Commander-in-Chief for the encouragement of His Majesty's Provincial Forces has been pleased to order that the contingent allowance shall take place from the 25 December 1778. Countersigned by Alexander Innes, Inspector-General of the Provincial Forces.
