Full Description:
Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Number 36. Acknowledges letters. 'Reinforcements detained, attack on the Island of Jersey, and good effects of the reduction of Georgia begin to appear. Carolina no longer makes remittances for the Congress to France or the West India Islands, nor can they now receive supplies through that channel. Renewal of treaty and succour to Canada'.
