Full Description:
McMillan to McClean. Charlottetown. Enclosed are copies of a packet which he sent via Captain Skinner of 70th to be laid before McClean. Begs to be excused having done so and gives reasons that it was to deceive those who would hinder him from writing. Ten of his company are sacrificed to the private view of Major Hierlihy, having been put on board his hay vessels. Begs a Courts-Martial for his trial.
