Full Description:
Captain William Sanford Oliver, Loyalist. Extract of an entry made at Newport, of the allowance granted by Prescott to Captain Oliver who was the son of the late Lieutenant-Governor of Massachuesetts Bay. One dollar a day for hmself and one and three quarter rations for himself, wife and one child. Signed by J. Upham, Deputy Inspector of Refugees. At foot of extract is an order for rations for 4 January 1782, signed by Thomas Murray, Aide-de-Camp.
