Full Description:
Captain John Baird to Phillips. Lancaster. The situation of the officers of 53rd Regiment will be his apology. Have not been favoured with an answer to their memorial to the Commander-in-Chief [see 15 April]. Their situation the more difficult that they are unable to draw rations of any 'species' for themselves or servants.
