Full Description:
Mary Houx and Hannah Morris. New York. Representation that they lived at Hosick, that their husbands left in July 1777 to join General Burgoyne and served with McKay's Rangers. Sent to Canada after the Convention of Saratoga. They were turned out of their farms and their stock sold. They are destitute. The statement is certified by Joseph Chew, Secretary of Indian Affairs. Addressed to Roger Morris.
