Full Description:
Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Number 40. Agreement that every encouragement should be given to the raising of Provincial troops and that it was a favourable season against the rebels. Women and children of the officers of the Provincial forces are allowed to partake of the royal bounty in the manner as those of the British troops. [Extract of this letter included with the letter].
