Full Description:
Rawdon to McLean. New York. Signifies McLean's desire that he will hold the 70th Regiment and the Young Royal Highlanders in readiness for embarkation. Application will be made to the naval officers commanding here to send transports and a convoy to receive them. If it is necessary that those two regiments should join this army, part of 82nd are expected from England and will be sent in exchange.
