Full Description:
[Clinton] to Robinson. Headquarters, Phillipsburgh. Has appointed a merchant of this city to act as inspector and prover of all rum purchased for the use of troops before its delivery into the stores, to prevent any tricks being played with it by the inferior officers. Has ordered the hydrometer to be deposited with him. Requests a salary may be allotted.
