Full Description:
Haldimand to Clinton. Quebec. Large ships which sailed from Cork with provisions have arrived. Has no account of the Merchant fleet from England nor information about what troops are coming from England, but from letters of 26 and 29 May it should be known what troops it is wished to be put in motion. The arrival of the provision ships has lowered the price of corn and thereby quieted the minds of the inhabitants from whom great assistance is expected of them.
