Full Description:
Lord George Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Acknowledges dispaches 57, 58, and 59 via Captain Frazer, they were immediately laid before the King. Regarding the approval of the progress made in operations. Also talks of reinforcements travelling out with Admiral Arbuthnot, and that General Matthews aquaints Clinton with the wise and humane directions to him. Those who are considered loyal inhabitants are to be armed and embodied, and put into a condition so as to defend themselves.
