Full Description:
Reverand William Duncan to Clinton. New York. Memorial. Referring to the deprivation of his parish of Newport, Virginia. From his loyalty he applied for leave to come to this city under the flag of truce, but his petition having been rejected was reduced to the necessityof taking a passage to St. Eustatius. The vessel being captured before he arrived here, asks for a vacancy as Chaplain in any of the new regiments.
