Fuser, St Augustine to Clinton. Account of the siege of Savannah. Includes a report from Charlestown [Charleston] on the unpreparedness of the British about the country, the little military experience of its commander (Prevost), and the rebels umbrage at d'Estaing's summoning of the town in the French king's name only.
