Full Description:
Mr Gordon at Pensacola to Messrs Thompson & Campbell, Merchants at Jamaica. Discussing the articles of capitulation with relation to soldiers and others in the forts on the Mississippi, including that of Baton Rouge. Everything is to be delivered up to Don Galvez and they are to remain prisoners of war until relieved by exchange. No danger to Pensacola from the westward unless they are assisted fronm Havanna. Note Before Dixon was taken, he made a sally which killed more Spaniards than 'he had himself'.
