Full Description:
Fuser to Clinton. St Augustine. A general report on the situation in the province. Informed that Monsieur D'Estaing has gone and the coast is perfectly clear. The 'Blonde' frigate is anchored at the bar and this morning waited on Major General Leslie. Sending a letter and a sketch of the inhabited part of the province. Since the news of the raising the siege of Savannah, most of the planters have retaken their 'negroes'.
