Full Description:
Clinton to Germain. New York. Seperate. The second proclamation issued by the King's Commissioners for regulating the trade of this port expired the first instant. Thinks it necessary to direct the Superintendent of Imports and Exports to continue acting in every respect as if that proclamation was in force, in order to prevent confusion that must have ensued if a total stop had been put to trade till the proper authorities or instructions should arrive from England. Hope it may meet with His Majesty's approbation.
