Clinton to Germain. New York. Seperate. Letter extended to all subjects and particularly those whom attachment to 'His Royal person' and the British Constitution has submitted to banishment and loss of property, not be unwilling to learn particularly the steps taken by his servants for the relief and protection of the body of refugees from the rebellious colonies. Discusses the situation of the unhappy men who would perhaps require more extensive assistance than he thought it consistent with the economy to give them.
