Cathcart to Clinton. New York. Written to inform of the answer to three questions. Question 1, Upon what footing the waggons employed in the Quartermaster-General's department stood at the first landing on Long and Staten Islands in 1776. Question 2, What alterations have since been made upon that arrangement , and by whom. Question 3, Upon what footing and by whom waggons are to be furnished for the use of the Quartermaster-General's department.
