Full Description:
Lieutenant Colonel J. Marsh, Robert McLeroth, Charles Graham, Board of Field Officers. New York. Report upon the state of the necessaries sent which arrived from England in August 1779. Includes linen, stockings and shoes which were of poor quality, and one thousand eight hundred blankets which were damaged and unfit for service. It appears to the board that if the several necessaries are charged at the prices of those formerly deivered, the soldier will be a considerable loser.
