Full Description:
Alexander MacLeod. Two seperate letters. Letter 1 signed by Lieutenant F Fraser, certifying the the character and reputation of Major MacLeod. He laid out all his fortune when he went and settled in America, and that he has lost everything that he had. Letter 2 is signed by Major Donald McDonald, certifying after having been sent by the Commander-in-Chief to America in 1775, Lieutenant MacLeod's sufferings and losses by his loyalty must be considerable due to the rebels having stripped his plantation and house.
