Full Description:
Major Beamsley Glasier to Clinton. St Augustine. Refers to his letter to Prevost. His services have been chiefly confined to North America and recognises that he is not known by Clinton or any of his family. Does not now apprehend that Prevost can be any longer in the way of his preferment in the regiment as he left and went to England, recommended in the strongest terms by the General to the Secretaries of State. Informs that he commanded the Grenadiers during the whole of the campaign in Georgia.
