Full Description:
Johannes Ackerman to Tryon. New York. Petition. Was compelled to leave his farm three years ago and fly hither for protection. Would have continue to support his family had his health been spared. Presented a petition some time past, was told by Colonel Morris he could not draw rations in that line by reason of a lieutenant's commission in the Militia, for which reason he now presents this request for such relief as His Excellency shall grant.
