Full Description:
Tonyn to Clinton. St Augustine. Mr MacKinen, Deputy Commissary of Stores and provision, died a few days ago. Imagines the appointment may be Provincial. Major Glasier however has appointed William Brown Esquire to officiate. If the right to nominate is not with the Governor, recommends Mr Brown to succeed. He has a large family, was formerly an officer and an Old Flanders acquaintance [veteran].
