Full Description:
[Clinton] to Prevost. Headquarters, Fenwick. Discusses that the rebels seem to have collected their whole force for the defence of Charlestown [Charleston] which renders expedient that he should be prepared for every opposition that they will be able to make. Therefore he feels he should reverse his plans and asks for reinforcements. Encloses an extract of General Orders. Marked, a copy to General Prevost to be delivered first.
