Full Description:
William Williams to Tryon. New York. Memorial. Has been persecuted and fined upwards of £1,100 on a charge of sending provision into the city of New York. November last he was under the necessity of moving his wife and five children for protection within the British lines. He hoped he would have been able to maintain them without any expence to the government. A long sickness has rendered him unable to do so. Requests rations for himself, his wife and his children. Certified by Thomas Ellison and Jas. Peters.
