Full Description:
Prevost to Clinton. Savannah. Received yesterday advice from Brigadier-General Patterson that with the troops under his command he effected the passage of the Savannah River 'all to his baggage'. By the 'Richmond' Captain Hudson, has received £3,500 sterling from the contractors in England for subsistence of the regiments supposed to be in garrison at St Augustine, also invoice of Indian goods from Mr Knox shipped on the'Venus' transport; has not heard of their arrival at Tybee.
