Full Description:
to Prevost. Headquarters, James Island. Receipt of the letter of 'the 12th'. Lieutenant Durnford who delivers this is sent to remain under his (Prevost's) directions at Tybee where he will erect a battery at the mouth of the Savannah River. To forward the £3,500 arrived in Richmond for the use of the garrison at St Augustine. Transmits duplicates of two letters of 'the 8th'. To send back Captain Durnford if he is not required.
