Full Description:
Governor Sir James Wright, Savannah, Georgia to Clinton. Acknowledges Clinton's letter of 25 March. In a long report he sets out the difficulties experinced via attacks on outlying settlemets and posts by rebels on horseback.Being very short of mounted troops, asks for reinforcements if he is to counter these attacks. He would rather have 150 horses than 500 infantry.
